The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to be Samsung’s first widescreen book-style foldable phone, and it could go official next month. Ahead of its launch, its design and specifications have leaked almost in their entirety. Now, some of the phone’s preloaded wallpapers has leaked in full resolution.

The version of the wallpaper for the Galaxy Z Fold 8's internal (foldable screen) has a resolution of 2,504 x 2,504 pixels, while the version for the external (cover) screen has a resolution of 2,520 x 1,080 pixels. Leakster Ice Universe recently revealed that Samsung has upped the resolution of the internal screen of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 compared to previous Galaxy Z Fold series phones.

The upcoming foldable phone is expected to feature a 5.6-inch cover display, a 7.6-inch foldable display, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a 4,800mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
It could have two 10MP selfie cameras (one each for the cover display and the internal display), a 50MP primary rear camera, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. It could have GNSS, 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, UWB, NFC, and a USB 3.2 Type-C port. You can expect it to feature an IP48 rating, stereo speakers, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
